How do I adjust the steering controls on my mower?

First proceed to adjust the steering height by taking out the mounting hardware that’s attaches the upper control arm of the lever to the handlebars before sliding the handlebar itself up or down. You’ll find small adjustment holes that the pin can rest it, locking the height of the handlebar. After this, re-install the mounting hardware and fasten it securely. Once you’ve selected the height of your choice, move on to adjusting the width of the steering lever. You’ll need to first loosen the mechanism at the bottom of the lower control arm.

Once you’ve done this, proceed to rotate the eccentric spacer unit further away from the outside position of the operator’s handling position. After you’ve done this, you can move on to adjusting the forward or backward movement of the lever – this is done by first loosening the bolts that attach the handlebar to the upper control arm unit. Now slide the lever to the desired position before fastening the bolts once again and securing the unit in place.
